Important Care Note:
Crown Leather Corals periodically retract their polyps and shed a thin, waxy outer layer. This is a normal process that helps the coral maintain a healthy surface.
Provide adequate water movement to assist with shedding and allow sufficient space between this coral and neighboring SPS or LPS corals.
In mixed reef aquariums, activated carbon and regular water changes may help reduce chemical interactions between corals.
